Repeto — Privacy Policy

Repeto (“we”, “the app”), provided by Yevhen Lebediev, helps you learn English vocabulary. This policy explains what we collect and why. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party analytics or tracking.

What we collect

• Account information. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple identity token that we use to create and identify your account, and your name if you choose to share it. If you use the app without signing in, we create an anonymous account tied to a device identifier. We store your chosen native/interface language.
• Your learning content and activity. The words and word sets you add, any text you paste or photograph so the app can extract words, and your study results (which words you reviewed and how you did). We store this on our servers so your progress syncs and the app can schedule your reviews and generate examples and related words.
• Camera. When you choose the “add from text” camera option, the app uses the camera to capture the text you point it at, only to extract words. We do not access your photo library.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
• We do not use advertising or tracking, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• Your email address (if provided by Apple) is stored only on your device as a label and is not sent to our servers.

How we use it

Solely to provide the app: authenticate your account, sync and store your vocabulary and progress, schedule spaced-repetition reviews, and power the optional AI features (extracting words from text, generating example sentences and related words). Text you submit to those features is sent to our servers for processing.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We share data only with service providers that operate our backend and the AI processing needed to deliver these features, and only as required to run the app or comply with law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and learning data while your account is active. You can sign out at any time in the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at hello@getrepeto.com and we will delete it.

Children

Repeto is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will post the new version at this URL with a new effective date.
